2. Monitoring systems for assessment of the atmospheric deposition of contaminants in the NOWPAP countries, their goals and tasks and used methods (15-20 pages).

*Note: For each of the countries materials should be represented both on the state network and/or on provincial networks and programs included in the NOWPAP region and should contain information on the following issues:
- Monitoring system for assessment of atmospheric deposition of contaminants (including institutional framework, regular or irregular activities/projects, number and location of stations, existing monitoring parameters [chemical, physical and biological] and frequency)
- Methodologies/procedures (including equipment used, detection limits)
- Methods of control for monitoring quality (including QA/QC procedures) in different level departments
- Quality criteria
- Actual problems in networks of monitoring systems for assessment of atmospheric deposition
- Planned changes in monitoring system (planned use of new methods)
3. Distinctions of existing monitoring systems for assessment of atmospheric deposition in the NOWPAP countries (5 pages)
4. Recommendations on improvement of existing systems of monitoring in the NOWPAP region (4-5 pages)
- Recommendations on the use of monitoring methods;
- Recommendations on the list of analyzed parameters;
- Recommendations on inter-calibration of monitoring methods in the NOWPAP countries
- Recommendations on cooperation of monitoring systems for assessment of atmospheric deposition in the NOWPAP region…..
5. Programs for preparation and improvement of professional skill of the personnel aimed at monitoring for assessment of the atmospheric deposition (6-8 pages)
5.1. National programs (national centers, training and
retraining courses for the personnel, the subjects
of training) and the international programs (GOOS,
WESTPAC, etc.);
5.2. Recommendations on the use of national and international programs of improvement of professional skill of the personnel aimed at the NOWPAP program
6. Recommendations on the development of the program informing population of the NOWPAP countries about the atmospheric deposition of contaminants in various countries and in the NOWPAP region as a whole (5-7 pages)
